Volume, measuring approximately 6.5" x 10", is bound in brown cloth, with stamped dark brown lettering to spine and front cover. Minor, faded spotting appears at top edge of text block. Book is otherwise in fine condition, with firm binding, clean and bright interior. This work contains numerous fold-out plates. 
This is a facsimile reproduction of the Ulm edition of 1628 and the Augsburg editions of 1640/41. Title pages are reproduced in red and black, with second volume offering a frontispiece portrait of the author.
Joseph Furttenbach the Elder (1591 – 1667) was a German architect, mathematician, engineer and diarist.
