Volume, measuring approximately 5" x 7.75", is bound in brown cloth, with stamped gilt lettering to spine and publisher's emblem stamped in gold on front cover. Book displays shelfwear, with sunning to spine and edges of rear cover. Small tear appears at top edge of spine. Binding is firm. occasional Light pencil markings to first two stories ("Der kleine Herr Friedemann" and "Enttäuschung", corresponding  to pages 9 to 47). Interior is otherwise clean and without markings.
