"The history of ceramics would be incomplete if we forgot this genius creator with multiple talents. His name? Christophe Potter (1751 - 1817). English by origin, he marked the great era of French porcelain from the end of the 18th century and the beginning of the 19th century with his original and daring creations. Always ahead of his time, he initiated the decoration printed on earthenware, with subtle and varied color backgrounds on porcelain, original shapes and innovative, high quality paintings or decorations used in its factories in Paris, Chantilly, Montereau, Forges les Eaux, Gournay and others still unknown."
