Originally published as "La traduzion del Indio de Los tres dialogos de amor de Leon Hebreo," this work by Portuguese–Jewish medieval philosopher, physician, and poet Judah Leon Abravenel (c.1460-c.1530) is considered one of the most important philosophical works of its time, with its significant ties to Plato's concept of dialogue, and as one of the first original philosophical compositions to be published in the vernacular (as opposed to Latin).
