Francisco Rico Manrique (b. 1942) is a Spanish philologist, professor of Medieval Spanish Literature at the Autonomous University of Barcelona and, since 1987, a member of the Royal Spanish Academy as well as the Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei and the British Academy. He has been the recipient of numerous awards, including the XII Premio Internacional Menéndez Pelayo (1998), the 2004 Nacional de Investigación Ramón Menéndez Pidal and the 2013 Premio Internacional Alfonso Reyes del Colegio de México.
