Small red ink stamp of the INSTOC Library of Cornell University appears on front and rear endpaper, as well as on preliminary pages, including title page. Book is otherwise in fine condition. Lavishly illustrated, with numerous double-page color maps. Text is in English, with bibliographical references also in Chinese. Dust jacket shows shelfwear. Jacket is preserved in mylar cover.
