Top edge of text block is tinted black.  Book is in excellent condition. Binding is firm. Pages are clean and bright. Work is illustrated with a frontispiece photo of Mencken. Intact dust jacket, with price of $3.00 on front flap, exhibits minor edge wear. Jacket design is by George Salter.
