Volume, measuring approximately 4.75" x 7.25", is bound in quarter dark green cloth and marbled paper-covered boards, with a gilt-lettered leather label. Book shows moderate external wear, with very small tear to the rear spine edge and rubbing at outside corners of boards. Binding is sound. Volume has marbled endpapers. Previous owner's antique bookplate appears on front pastedown. Lightly age-toned pages are clean and without markings.
Louis Auguste Paul Rougier (1889 – 1982) was a French philosopher. Rougier made many important contributions to epistemology, philosophy of science, political philosophy and the history of Christianity.
