Binding is firm. Volume has marbled yellow and green endpapers. Previous owner's bookplate is affixed to front pastedown. Pages are clean and without markings. This work is profusely illustrated, offering textual illustrations and plates.
Henri d'Alméras (1861-1938) was a French historian and
novelist who authored a series of studies of the mores of
Paris in various periods of history.
