"Louis Prang (1824 - 1909) was a Victorian Color
Lithographer, Artist, and Art Educator. He brought artistic
sensitivity to the masses. He produced expensive museum-level
chromo-art copies for the home, he introduced Art Education
into the American Public Schools and he developed needed
instruction books and supplies. Included in this book is
Checklist of Prang's Chromos (in Boston Public Library and
two other collections)."
