"In this exhibition, charted "surfaces" are placed at the viewers' disposition, the morphologies of recollections are investigated (like writings in braille), "studies" are devised on the perception of the Self in relation to the Other. while the disciplines involved and the approaches take into consideration may differ, nevertheless the contributions of artists Louise Bourgeois and Jenny Holzer and fashion designer Helmut Lang move upon a terrain alongside of which key terms like the inside, the body, the self, the thoughts against the outside, the dress, the perception by others and the meaning of words have been prominently positioned. Also part of the play is the contemplative and/or observant individual exposed to these multifarious attempts at epistemologies and confusions and deceptions."
