Large-format volume, measuring approximately 9.5" x 12", is bound in red cloth, with stamped gilt lettering to spine. Book shows light shelfwear. Binding is firm. Volume has pictorial endpapers. Pages are clean and bright. Dust jacket displays wear, with light soiling to panels, and small tears and minor loss at edges. Jacket is preserved in paper-backed mylar cover.
Small card in envelope addressed to Karin Pohl, with Ithaca address, has handwritten note by German physicist Robert W. Pohl.
