Poetry collection by Anatoly Naiman (b. 1936), one of the four of "Akhmatova's Orphans" (together with Joseph Brodsky, Yevgeny Rein and Dmitri Bobyshev), a group of Russian poets who gathered as acolytes around the poet Anna Akhmatova (1889-1966). Akhmatova called them her "magic choir", but after Akhmatova's death they were called "Akhmatova's Orphans".
