Antique volume, measuring approximately 5.5" x 9.25", is bound in blue paper-covered boards and cream cloth spine, with  black lettering to spine and publisher's device stamped in gold on front cover. Book shows moderate external wear, with small tears at top edge of spine, and minor tear at lower outside corner of front cover. Binding is sound. Pages are clean and without markings. 
This is one of 13 volumes of a series devoted to German mysticism published by Insel Verlag between 1919 and 1927. This edition presents the writings of Swiss physician, alchemist and astrologer Paracelsus (1493/4 –  1541), accompanied by a glossary and name index.
