This is the first volume of a two-volume work. The volume is bound in green cloth, with stamped gilt lettering to spine and front cover. Book shows light shelfwear. Binding has tape repair at last two pages. Rear flyleaf has remnants of attachment. Ink stamp is visible on front flyleaf and title page. Sticker has been from upper half of title page. Pages are clean and bright. Numerous plates. Flaps of dust jacket are largely absent, with pasted remnants on fore edge of pastedowns. Jacket otherwise exhibits moderate shelfwear.
