This book brings together essays on education, literature and art by Uruguayan political leader and Marxist theoretician Rodney Arismendi (1913-1989), who was General Secretary of the Communist Party of Uruguay between 1955 and 1987. He is considered one of the most important Latin American theoreticians of communism.
