Two-volume set. Each volume, measuring approximately 5.5" x 8.25", is bound in dark purple cloth, with stamped gold and black lettering to spine and front cover. Books show very mild wear, with light dust soiling to top edge of text blocks. Bindings are firm. Endpapers display light foxing. Pages are clean and without markings. Illustrated with portrait plates.
Translation into Russian of the works of Scottish philosopher David Hume (1711-1776). Igor Sergeevich Narskii (1920-1993) was a prominent Soviet philosopher and historian of philosophy, whose work on Hume was highly regarded, though critically debated.
