Full-page color drawings and vignettes illustrate 100 fables by Russia's best-known fabulist and probably the most epigrammatic of all Russian authors.
Nikolai Popov (b. 1938) is a well-known Russian visual artist and illustrator. He has won multiple gold medals and Grand Prix at international exhibitions of children’s book illustration.
