This is the November/December 1941 issue of "Story: The Magazine of the Short Story" (Vol. XIX, No. 92). This issue contains Norman Mailer's first published work, which appeared when the author was 18 years old, still a student at Harvard University. The story was winner of Story magazine's college contest in 1941. The magazine displays light foxing and rubbing, with minor loss to front cover. Binding is sound. Very small stain is visible on verso of front cover and top of first page. Pages are otherwise clean and bright. Texts appear in double columns.
