Three-volume set. Each volume, measuring approximately 6" x 9.25", is bound in black cloth, with stamped gilt lettering to spine. Pictorial design on front cover depicts the eye of Sauron, with color varying by volume (the first in orange, the second in red, and third in purple). Books are in fine condition, with firm bindings, clean and bright interiors and well-preserved fold-out maps at end of volume. Dust jackets display light shelfwear. Slipcase exhibits moderate wear.
