Volume is bound in red cloth, with gilt-lettered black labels and gilt ruling to spine and front cover. Book shows shelfwear, with small dents at edges of front board and three small indentations at bottom of rear cover. Top edge of text block is tinted dark green. Binding is firm. Gray decorative endpapers, with publisher's device at center. Previous owner's name and address are written at top of front pastedown. Pages are clean and bright. Scarce dust jacket, with price of 95 cents on front flap/rear panel and titles listed on verso, displays light soiling and minor loss at top/bottom edge of spine panel. Jacket design is by McKnight Kauffer.
