Catalogue of an exhibition (April 25 to July 28, 1991) devoted to the life of Austrian artist and educator Frederika "Friedl" Dicker-Brandeis (1898-1944), who was deported to to the Terezín "model ghetto" in December 1942 and subsequently murdered in Auschwitz. During her time at Terezín, she gave art lessons and lectures. She helped to organize secret education classes for the children of Terezín. She saw drawing and art as a way for the children to understand their emotions and their environment.
