Volumes, each measuring approximately 6.25" x 9.25", are bound in blue cloth, with stamped gilt lettering to spines. Books are in fine condition, with solid binding. Small stain appears in margin of page 443 of first volume. Pages are otherwise clean and bright. Work is illustrated with (fold-out) plates. Top edge of rear panel of dust jacket of first volume exhibits tear. Dust jackets are otherwise well preserved in mylar covers.
